Under the headline „The smart BPM Conference“, the Process Management Alliance, the University of Bamberg, and Lufthansa Technik welcomed 70 experts from various industry sectors to discuss the latest development and best practices in process management. The conference took place on September 10th to 11th at the Lufthansa Conference & Training Center Seeheim in the area of Frankfurt.
At the beginning, each expert received a Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 tablet for note and picture taking, and to interactively participate in surveys during the conference. “What a great idea to support such an event” was the main feedback of the participants while receiving the tablets. As nearly all organization for this year’s BPinPM.net Process Management Conference is completed, we are looking forward to open the conference on Tuesday.
We wish all participants a safe journey!
Those of you who unfortunately are not able to join us in Seeheim can follow us on Twitter.
Driven by the awesome feedback of last year’s conference, we performed additional Best Practice workshops and gave our best to set up an attractive agenda for a second BPinPM.net Process Management Conference for German-speaking process management experts.
The agenda is designed to share the workshop results, to present best practice examples from companies such as Infraserv Höchst, Cassidian / Systemunterstützungszentrum Eurofighter, SAP, and Lufthansa Technik, as well as to facilitate know-how exchange by process management experts.
The conference will take place on Sep 10 and 11, 2013 at Lufthansa Training & Conference Center Seeheim in the area of Frankfurt.
Again, this will be a local conference in Germany, but if enough non-German-speaking experts are interested, we will think about ways to share the know-how with the international BPinPM.net community as well. Please feel free to contact the team.
Thanks to all your positive feedbacks and requests for a follow-up event to last year’s conference in Seeheim, we have started to take action and are proud to now officially announce the date for the 2nd BPinPM.net Conference for process management experts.
The conference will take place on September 10/11, 2013 at Lufthansa Training & Conference Center in Seeheim in the area of Frankfurt.
To address both, last year’s participants and new process management experts, we will have a look on how the already discussed subjects have developed since last year and introduce new results of our Best Practice in Process Management workshop series. We plan to cover a variety of different process management areas, from fundamentals such as a company-wide defined process model and connection of processes and organizational structure to specific issues such as process performance measurements. To achieve our goal to offer an official platform for process management experts, we are proud to announce that we have finally founded and registered the Process Management Alliance. 🙂
This association will not only take over the Best Practice in Process Management activities to bring experts together and to identify and share best practices in process management but also to transfer this knowledge to the educational and social sector. So the founding is another step on our journey towards the improvement of process management which already started about ten years ago.
To introduce the Process Management Alliance we created a short video. Continue reading “Founding of the Process Management Alliance – An introducing video”
About a year ago, we started our Best Practice in Process Management initiative by conducting the initial survey to identify interests in different areas of process management.
In the meantime, we’ve performed several workshops with process management experts from all kind of organizations to identify best practices in the most important areas.
Now, we are ready to share the results with the BPinPM.net community, to present examples, and to facilitate know-how exchange:
We are proud to invite you to the BPinPM.net Process Management Conference for German-speaking process management experts.
The conference will take place on Sep 21, 2012 at Lufthansa Training & Conference Center Seeheim in the area of Frankfurt.
We’ve decided to start with a local conference in Germany, but if enough non-German-speaking experts are interested, we will think about ways to share the conference content with the international BPinPM.net community or even to organize an international conference later on. Please feel free to contact the team.
Two weeks ago, I had the opportunity to present our process standardization methodology at a workshop in Zürich organized by SGO’s BPM Community of Practice.
We had a brilliant discussion and a number of interesting ideas to improve the methodology were generated. To share our process standardization experience with the BPinPM.net community, I would like to describe our approach in this post. Have you ever thought about the fitness of your organizational culture with regards to business process management?
A few weeks ago, I received an invitation via Xing to participate in an online survey developed by process management experts of University of Liechtenstein and Queensland University of Technology. The tool analyzes the organizational culture and presents the results in an individual report at the end of the survey. Our plans become more and more specific and I am proud to announce the date of the BPinPM.net Conference for German-speaking process management experts. Continue reading “BPinPM.net Conference – Save the date!”
