Founding of the Process Management Alliance – An introducing video

To achieve our goal to offer an official platform for process management experts, we are proud to announce that we have finally founded and registered the Process Management Alliance. 🙂

This association will not only take over the Best Practice in Process Management activities to bring experts together and to identify and share best practices in process management but also to transfer this knowledge to the educational and social sector. So the founding is another step on our journey towards the improvement of process management which already started about ten years ago.

JoinIN! – Process Standardization at Lufthansa Technik Group

Two weeks ago, I had the opportunity to present our process standardization methodology at a workshop in Zürich organized by SGO’s BPM Community of Practice.

We had a brilliant discussion and a number of interesting ideas to improve the methodology were generated. Process Modeling at Lufthansa Technik

After receiving several requests to tell more about how we are modeling our processes at Lufthansa Technik, I interviewed Sascha Lamass, our process modeling expert, to give an overview about this topic.

Mirko: Before we get into the details of process modeling at Lufthansa Technik, can you say a few words about your process modeling experience?

Sascha: I started modeling processes at Lufthansa Technik in 2006. This was the time of the initial process modeling in the context of the rollout of IQ MOVE and I was – and I still am – the responsible process modeler for our sales and marketing as well as our strategic purchasing processes, for example. Today, I am also responsible for the development of our process modeling methodology. This includes training new process modelers and improving our editorial process itself.
